The Auction takes place at The Llanthony Secunda Priory at 3pm on Sunday 24th May.
It is presided over by the wonderful Mark Stafford Lovatt from Nock Deighton Auction house. I first met him back in 2011 at the Ludlow Stone Carving Festival and knew he was the man for my festival!
He has kindly donated his time as he did back in 2013 when we managed to make just over £2500 for the two beneficiaries. The Gloucester Geology trust and The Llanthony Secunda Priory Trust.
This year the profit is being donated to The Llanthony Secunda Priory trust. Please visit http://www.llanthonysecunda.org/ for more information about this beautiful site and their plans for the future.
If you would like to bid on any of the carvings we will be able to accept cash and credit card payments, you don’t need to register to take part in the auction. (there are plenty of cash machines within walking distance of the site)
You will be welcome to leave bids if you are unable to attend the auction and there will be someone to help you at the festival if you wish to do this.
Bidding will start at £50 and some carvings will go for between £50-£500 approximately.
If you have any questions regarding this part of the festival please get in touch via the contact us page.
Hop to see you there and good luck
