All Saints’ Church, Longhope.
For some years now the tiles on the church roof have been slipping and have been replaced whenever necessary. However, in April 2008, the Architect Richard Lamb made his Quinquennial inspection nad reported that the roof should be re-tiled within the next 2 yrs,to avoid the risk of damage to the timbers.
English Heritage have made agenerous grant towards the costs, but that leaves a shortfall of about £80,000 to find before Christmas in order to qualify for the second part of the grant.
There is a bit of a rush to raise this money, so if any one can help please email me, carrie@catseyecarving.co.uk if you think you can help.
